You can become an egg donor for prospective parents who you already know or for ones you've only just met. You can become an egg donor for a male couple, a male-female couple or for a single prospective father or mother.
Egg donors are needed to help prospective parents who do not have (good) eggs available of their own.
You can become an egg donor in a surrogacy process in which the prospective parents wish to fulfil their desire for a child with the assistance of an egg donor and a surrogate. Or you can be simultaneously a surrogate and an egg donor.
